The Difference is Night and Day!

I came to Dr. Petrosky because my husband came first and he was very happy with his treatment and mini dental implants. My sister also was telling me for a long time to get implants. So I had mini implants done because my lower denture kept coming loose while eating, talking, and I didn’t like it! I used to sneeze and they would come out of my mouth. I was also using a lot of glue and it would be all over my mouth…I swallowed some that I didn’t like either!!! Even an apple I could not bite. I now have my implants for over a month and I am very happy! Don’t need glue anymore, they feel like my own teeth all over again…comfortable and eat so much better. Yes, I would highly recommend mini dental implants to anyone with a problem like mine.

Overdenture and Mini Dental Implants Saves the Day! April 17, 2010

John can now smile and eat with comfort and confidence. 

CASE NOTE: It was frustrating for John as he had single individual crowns breaking off at the gumline.  Unfortunately John was told by two other dentists all his upper teeth had to come out!  Had he saved them as we recommended and then supplemented his natural teeth with Mini Dental Implants, he could and should have had a fixed bridge that would restore his upper arch as if they were his own permanent teeth!  He chose instead surgical extractions!?!? We at least added six (6) Mini Dental Implants to secure his palataless denture and preserved the underlying bone.  An overdenture is certainly superior to a full denture…but nothing beats a fixed bridge for it’s natural-like restoration that connects crowns together so they don’t fall off.
